Aymara Ecolodge is located in Challapampa, in the northern part of Isla del Sol, Lake Titicaca. There are three main ways to reach us:
01 — PRIVATE TRANSFER
A more comfortable and personalized journey
For guests looking for a more private and convenient experience, we offer a private transfer service that can be arranged in advance. The journey begins with a private vehicle transfer to Yampupata. From there, a private boat will be waiting to take you across Lake Titicaca to Challapampa. Upon arrival, one of our representatives will welcome you at the port and accompany you to the ecolodge.

02 — PUBLIC BOAT FROM COPACABANA
A scenic journey across Lake Titicaca
The most common way to reach Isla del Sol is by taking a public boat from Copacabana. Public boats generally arrive at Challapampa, in the northen part of the island. Once you arrive in, a member of our team will be waiting for you and will accompany you to Aymara Ecolodge.

03 — FROM LA PAZ
A complete travel experience
If you are traveling from La Paz and would like to organize your entire journey, Aymara Ecolodge works with Bolivien Reisen Touristik, a travel agency specializing in personalized experiences in Bolivia.

Before you travel
Bring comfortable walking shoes
The island's terrain includes unpaved paths, slopes and stairs.
Travel with light luggage
If you are arriving through Yumani, you will need to walk to Challapampa.
