Aymara Ecolodge began as a family dream: to create a welcoming place where guests could rest, connect with nature and experience the culture and beauty of Isla del Sol.
Where It All Began
Aymara Ecolodge began operating on November 3, 2025, in Challapampa, on the northern side of Isla del Sol.
The project was founded by Gustavo Ticona with the vision of creating a peaceful and welcoming place where visitors could enjoy the beauty of Lake Titicaca while discovering the culture, traditions and landscapes of the island.
Built with Dedication
From the beginning, Aymara Ecolodge has been a family project. Its growth has been made possible through shared work, dedication and a commitment to making every guest feel welcome.
Gustavo remains directly involved in the management, guest service and daily care of the lodge, allowing visitors to experience a more personal and authentic side of Isla del Sol.
More Than a Place to Stay
We created Aymara Ecolodge to offer more than a place to sleep. We want our guests to slow down, enjoy the landscape, connect with nature and discover the cultural identity of Isla del Sol.
Our goal is to continue growing while preserving what makes this place special: nature, culture, community and warm hospitality.
